Hi Members, Parents and all the MSNC Family,
I wanted to make sure everyone is staying healthy and well in these uncertain times and not going too stir crazy.
It seems a little irrelevant to talk about netball but It’s been a couple of weeks now since we stopped our Netball activities and we just wanted get in touch, and let you know that our Committee, Coaches and Volunteers are making plans for when this crisis subsides, so we will be in the best possible place to resume the clubs activities, what form this will take and when is uncertain at the present time, but we will as always keep you updated.
Please keep in touch with your coaches and teammates let us know what you have been getting up to! Have you found a fun way to keep your netball skills up and fitness levels intact?
Send us any pictures, videos or links you’d like to share with the MSN Family.
Our coaches are working on putting some 30 minutes fitness sessions together and hopefully some skill drills so watch out for these over the coming weeks.
As a community club we want to ensure we play our part in ensuring that people stay safe, healthy and minimise the burden on the NHS so we will only recommence activities when it is safe to do so and will be guided 100% by Government and England Netball advice.
We are fortunate as one of the largest and most progressive clubs in Sussex, now strengthened with the player pathway collaboration with Netballerz and Sussex netball club, that we will come through these times and will be here to offer netball for all age groups and abilities.
I personally want to thank those parents out there who are engaged in front line services, from NHS staff to everyone keeping the country moving, clean and people fed and essential goods in the shops. Helping the country get through these tough times, you are doing the most amazing job and you have the thanks of us all.
In the meantime, keep working on your netball skills and fitness and stay healthy, stay safe and take care of yourself and family.
Please remember, Stay home over Easter , support the NHS and save lives
Thank you
Iain(Lewis)
